When needed, ThreatDown can isolate a Mac from the network to help contain an incident while keeping its management connection available. Threat scans and quarantine help address detected malware and unwanted software.

No. Security software and backups serve different purposes. Keep a separate backup of your important files. ThreatDown’s ransomware rollback is a Windows-only feature and does not provide Mac file recovery.
No. Patch management covers supported applications in ThreatDown’s catalog, subject to available updates and configured policies. Some software needs separate attention. On Mac, ThreatDown’s patch management covers supported third-party apps rather than macOS itself.
The Mac EDR and patch-management features described here apply to covered Macs. YesCare+ includes Apple device support according to your plan; iPhone and iPad support does not mean those devices run the same Mac security tools.
